It was in 1989 that Dean Allen Goodson — owner of the Little Rock-based Giraffe Tree Service — first
entered the field of landscaping and tree care. Goodson initially
apprenticed in horticulture and arboriculture under the tutelage of
noted professional Ron Marks — an experience that provided Goodson the
foundations of what would eventually become a successful and lasting
career in professional tree services. It wasn’t long after working with
Marks that Dean Goodson relocated to Arkansas to open his own tree care business.
